Regulation for replacement in the event of loss (e.g. prostheses, aids).
Guarantor obligation for phases in which patients are unable to look after their own property.
Verification and release of treatment products brought in (medical devices and medicinal products)Edit

Application

All valuables such as teeth, glasses and clothing must be documented and provided with patient labels.

Description of the procedure

Personal items

Safekeeping form (form for patient property) must be completed by the responsible caregiver each time a patient is admitted.

Certificate of deposit consists of three copies:
white carbon copy = original, remains at the patient's place or after transfer / discharge in red folder

green carbon copy = remains at the patient's place or after transfer / discharge in red folder

blue carbon copy = original, remains at the patient's place, is given to the ward or patient upon transfer/discharge against signature

The custody slip is filed on the care sheet (transparent film on the right-hand side)

Items brought in at a later date are added to the deposit slip according to date, type of item and signature of the responsible caregiver

Valuables that are handed over to relatives during the stay must be completed on the safekeeping slip with the date, type of item and signature of the responsible caregiver.

A lockable safe is located under the blood gas analyzer (BGA) in the small unclean work area

Deposit valuables in the above-mentioned compartment according to the bed number When the patient is transferred, the patient's belongings and a blue carbon copy are handed over against signature. The signature of the patient or the caregiver collecting the patient must be on all three copies. The original is filed with the green carbon copy in the red folder above the BGA device after the valuables have been handed over.

The key for the safe deposit box is also in the red folder

Aids (dentures, hearing aids, etc.)

When recording, it must be noted for all aids whether they were brought along or not. It is not enough to list the items you have brought with you! The master data sheet must also indicate which aids were not brought along! When the patient is discharged from hospital, the patient, relatives or transport nurses must confirm that the aids have been brought with them.

The aids must be checked for proper function. If there is any doubt, the medical technician must evaluate the aid.

The aid must be approved for use in the hospital.
