Goal and purpose

All terms used in the records and documents should be listed and explained in a directory. When creating work instructions, it should always be checked whether the terms used correspond to the meaning already established in everyday life. Abbreviations and (pictorial) symbols are also dealt with.

The hospital should draw up a list of common abbreviations. The list should be implemented and continuously updated by the management.
