Goal and purpose

Description of the usual procedure, including emergencies. Criteria for outpatient and inpatient treatment. Referral to other treatment centres (transfer responsibility).

Clarification of responsibility for the decision. Patients should not be admitted, transferred or rejected until all examination findings are available and have been assessed by the person responsible.
