Goal and purpose

The admission of a patient must be comprehensively organised.

The recording process itself includes

  • Needs for information, support during the waiting period, effort for administrative admission
  • Waiting area? Seating facilities Provision of food and drink? Preparation of baby food, play facilities for children?
  • Reception on the ward?
  • When will the patient receive his room or bed?
  • Information about other services? In particular counselling, psychological, psychosocial support
  • Determination of care relationship, custody of children
  • Domestic circumstances (obligations, pets, etc.)
