Goal and purpose

The hospital adopts an organisational statute with articles of association, information on the external representation of the hospital vis-à-vis authorities, contractual partners, etc., with signatory powers and decision-making authority of the management bodies.

The management appoints one or more representatives for the quality of medical services and patient safety (e.g. medical director, nursing director). The responsibilities and authorisations for quality-related activities must be defined.

The organisational statutes may include the schedule of responsibilities of the management body (executive board), rules of procedure or administrative regulations for management with a regulation of representation, and the responsibilities and powers for quality-related activities must be defined.
